The idea for this one happened on a particularly trying day. I had started it, then lost motivation on it because the color selection was proving quite challenging.
Then, Jared Kushner said this:

That provided me with the rage I needed to finish this.

Ok, so this one isn’t really a cartoon - but I made it, and I am sticking it here.
Quinta Jurecic made a sweet little spreadsheet that detailed volume 2 of the Mueller report, and posted it to Twitter.
A lot of it didn’t make sense at first glance, and I knew I wouldn’t be able to sleep until I ran it through my own UX/UI process. This is the result from that sleepless night. I was so excited to have it done I posted it immediately. I should’ve slept on it for at least one night. #LessonsLearned
That tweet was my first ever truly viral tweet. My phone was sending me alerts every couple of minutes, that was amazing to experience.
There was a lot of wonderful feedback, and I made a second version. I toned down the colors, added page numbers, and removed the text at the bottom.
The translucent checkmarks in version 2 was a cute idea, but caused confusion/uncertainty for some people - so it was time for version 3.
