In The Walking Dead, there is a bad dude named Negan.
Negan has a baseball bat that is wrapped with barbed wire.
He calls the bat Lucille.
He uses the bat to bludgeon people to death in grand fashion, then relies on the symbology of Lucille to make sure everyone else stays in line.
